BMR(PT) MClSc (Manipulative Therapy) FCAMPT CAFCI
Working as a physiotherapist is Sandra’s true calling. She loves to tackle complex problems and to share the excitement with a patient as they regain their ability to move with ease and confidence.
Sandra graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (Physical Therapy). She is a lifelong learner who continually adds to her expertise. She obtained a Masters of Clinical Science (Manipulative Therapy) from the University of Western Ontario and is a Fellow of the Canadian Acadamy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). She is also certified to practice acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada and perform SFMA and FMS assessments. Sandra is continually on the lookout for new treatment techniques and technologies that will benefit her patients. Most recently she has added photobiomodulation from BioFlex Laser.
If she is not in the clinic, Sandra likes to be outside. She enjoys any type of sport. She plays tennis at the Lethbridge Tennis Club. She also has a collection of easy care plants – succulents and cacti.
Kevin was born and raised in Grande Prairie and moved to Lethbridge after high school to pursue post-secondary education. Kevin graduated from the University of Lethbridge with his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2017. He has a passion for working and supporting individuals on their rehabilitation journey. Kevin has experience working with individuals with disabilities and continues to work part-time as a support worker. He is excited to continue learning, growing, and improving his ability to help others as a part of the Sport & Spine Physiotherapy team!
When Kevin is not working, he likes to be outside camping, hiking, or just enjoying nature. As an enthusiastic hiker, Kevin has completed many multi-day hikes in the backcountry of Jasper and has just recently completed the West Coast Trail!
Kathy Nicolacopoulos is the Administrative Assistant at Sport & Spine Physiotherapy Ltd. She ensures the smooth running of the office at Sport & Spine Physiotherapy Ltd. Her favorite part of her job is watching the amazing transformation of our patients in the clinic as they go from a painful situation to realizing the healthy benefits of physiotherapy. She looks forward to cheering them on to good health.
While not at work, Kathy enjoys cooking, gardening, yoga and long walks through Lethbridge’s many amazing parks. Kathy is always willing to try something new – her latest endeavour is learning natural horsemanship.
